Power Sector Reform ACT of 2005
The power Sector Reform Act of 2005 has unbundled National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) into 18 different companies. These companies span the areas of power generation, transmission and distribution.
Also the Power Sector Reform Act has set up the National Electricity Regulatory Commission with the powers to encourage the private sector participation in the energy sector and also regulate the sector.

Several job opportunities will therefore be generated in the energy sector, with the private sector being the driving force in the areas of power generation, transmission and distribution.
So early entry into this sector is very essential for a discerning person who wishes to develop a career in the sector.

This course will equip the participants with their skill necessary for such a role.

2. Introduction to BSEN
3. Introduction to Energy Regulation and standards.
4. Materials monitoring and targeting
5. Energy auditing in practice
