KBS professional Diploma in Air ticketing and reservation, equivalent to British Airways Fares and Ticketing

Learn industry standard codes for cities, airports, states, countries, currencies and the calendar. Examine the location of major cities worldwide. Gain the knowledge to  answer customer enquiries about passports, visas, health or general country information.

IATA Fares
Examine the full range of fare types and learn how to confidently quote fares. Discover to recognize customers’ needs with regards to different types of air fares.

The Mileage System 
Learn how to use Neutral Units of Constructions (NUCs) to construct one way and return fares for multi-sector routings using the mileage system. Examine a wide range of mileage principles. Discover how to apply the IATA rates of exchange and how to round off currency fares.

Ticketing
Learn how to interpret the information displayed on the different formats of automated tickets. Discover how to issue Manual Tickets. Examine the different types of special service that may be provided for a passenger by an airline. Explore free baggage allowances and excess baggage changes. Learn to complete Miscellaneous Change  orders (MCOs) and multiple Purpose Documents (MPDs)
